Get to know boys betting on AI play agents

When Carson Szeder He turned five dollars into more than a thousand betting on a NFL party last year, he knew he was in something important. “Without a doubt my biggest victory,” he says. He had not marked because he was especially prominent in Football Analytics, or because he was particularly fortunate. Instead, he says he used a AI program to help him decide how to play.

Since there was a federal ban on sports bets in the United States seven years ago, the internet game has exploded in popularity. Last year, Americans spent more than $ 150 billion on sports-related bets, with many bets on their phones instead of boarding a flight to Vegas. The American Gaming Association recorded a leap of popularity almost 24 percent in sports bets in the United States in 2024, and obsession does not show signs of slowdown.

The mania has coincided with a modern golden hurry of Ai. Now, the race continues to combine the tasks that the economy shakes and has emerged a rural housing industry to give bots the opportunity to make bets. So far, there is no huge wave of newly welcomed millionaires sitting at the top of money of money earned with AI agents. But some fortune hunters are already using services fed by the ordinary players into winners.

Take Szeder, founder of the Ai Monsterbet game startup, says that their tools are given to the customers. “We have some people who are probably hitting around 56 to 60 percent of the time, including myself,” he says. (The standard odds are around 52 percent.) Szeder, a computer science, began to build sports betting algorithms as a student, at the request of his college colleagues who liked to play. He began to incorporate the AI into these experiments in early 2025, when he created an assistant named Monstergpt to select professional sports bets in the United States. It uses projection models that designed combined with information scratched from all over the Internet. Monstergpt accesses web scrapers through augmented recovery generation (RAG), a process that allows AI tools to incorporate new data from external sources at the top of their training materials. Now, Szeder is trying to turn his hobby into a complete business, which promotes social platforms with publications such as “Here’s how I did $ 1.2 million from my sports betting software yesterday.” Charge $ 77 per month to access Monstergpt and other tools.

There is no shortage of competition. Richmm, a startup based on Massachusetts, charges $ 30 for his basic package “Sports Intelligence in the AI”. A company called Juicereel offers a free basic application for the same purpose. Some of these companies offer AI agents who select options, but they really do not make bets on behalf of users. Others are simply marketed as gambling services that use the IA without bothering to mention agents.

This is the route used by the largest and most established actors in the industry. This spring, Fanduel launched a chat called Ace, which offers analysis and tips on certain sports, but does not allow automated betting. “The power of bets must always be in the hands of our customers, not boats, Ai agents or nothing (or any other),” says the Vice President of Innovation and the transformation of the Jon Sadow product.
