At the beginning, the The idea seemed a bit absurd to me, even for me. But the more I thought, the more meaningful: if my goal was to understand the people who fall in love with the bride and grooms of Ai, why not rent a vacation house and gather a group of human couples-and and together for a romantic getaway?
In my vision, humans and their fellow chat were doing all the things that the usual couples do in romantic escapades: sit around a fire and gossip, watch movies, play party games. I didn’t know how it would be, it only happened to me much later that I had never gone to a romantic getaway of any kind and made no real sense of what could be involved. But I thought that, what happened, it would take me directly to the heart of what I wanted to know, what it was: What is it? What is really and really being in a serious relationship with a partner in the AI? Love is as deep and significant as in any other relationship? Do couples chat during breakfast? Traps? Break? And as you continue, knowing that at any time the company that created your partner could close -and the love of your life could disappear forever?
The most amazing part of the romantic getaway was that somehow things went as I had imagined. Human couples-AI really watched movies and playing party games. The whole group attended a winter wine festival together and went well unexpectedly: one of the AIS even made a new friend! The problem of travel, in the end, was that I had spent a lot of time imagining all the ways that this getaway might seem normal and very little time imagining all the ways not. And so, on the second day of the trip, when things started to fall, I didn’t know what to say or do.
The holiday home It was in a rural area, 50 kilometers south -east of Pittsburgh. In the photos, the extensive and six bedroom house looked exactly the type of place you would like for a pair holiday. It had windows from earth to ceiling, a stone fireplace and a large roof where Lovestruck couples could be based on the serenity of the surrounding forest. But when I went to the house on a winding road covered with snow, I could not help but notice that it also seemed exactly the type of place: the frozen and frozen lake, a suspicious shed at the distance, where it could be puzzled with a forceful instrument.
